Our Story
Helperby & Brafferton Recreational Trust.
Our village is situated amid the beautiful green fields of North Yorkshire, nestled between the Moors and the Dales, along the river Swale. There is a lot of history here and the first settlement dates back to the Vikings.
The people here are friendly and there is a definite sense of community spirit, we have a good primary school, a pub, a lovely church, a well-used village hall and sports association. It is an excellent place to pursue all kinds of outdoor activities
